24 Free Responsive HTML Email Templates in 2025

By Sandra Boicheva

If you’re like me, finding high-quality, free responsive HTML email templates can sometimes feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. My least favorite moment is finding a pretty great-looking template that says it’s free, then I click to download it and get hit by a wall with a message ” Sign up for a free trial to send the email”. No, this is not that kind of list!

I managed to hunt down 24 free responsive HTML email templates for different purposes: eCommerce, events, announcements, restaurant menus, alerts, receipts, and more. No sign-ups, no platform restrictions, only squeaky clean HTML code that works across all major email clients, including the likes of Outlook (hopefully). They’re designed to look great on mobile and desktop and are easy to customize.

1. Photography Email Template

Picturesque is a long, 6-section stylish photography email template from Mail Bakery for photographers, studios, and agencies.

It has a simple white theme to keep things elegant and the layout has different sections you can tweak depending on what you need: a newsletter, a welcome email, or something else.

It works on desktop, web, and mobile, so it’ll look good everywhere and it’s been tested on 40 email clients.

Picturesque is a completely free template. However, if you ever need more color options or customization, there’s also a Premium version with extra features.

2. Oxygen Email Sections

This is not exactly a pre-made email template you can download, but rather a collection of matching sections you can download directly one by one. If you prefer to do things visually, however, you can also choose a random section, click ” Edit in Dyspatch” and use the drag-and-drop builder to add all the sections from Oxygen you need and export the HTML code. It will ask you for an email and it will send you the HTML code.

  • You can download it after building
